President Obama "We must not offend muslims, It would be dangerous."

President Obama:
"If we use the term  "radical Islam" to define this kind of terrorism, we will be less safe because American Muslims will think we are talking about them."

Really?

I remember when the Irish Republican Army was committing terrorist acts, they were called North Ireland terrorists, Irish  Catholic terrorists and just plain Irish terrorists.
We all know lots of Irish people, and not one of them objected to those terms because most Irish people opposed terrorism.
Why is it different with muslims?
Could it be  ISLAM ?
