I recently visited the New Mexico Holocaust Museum in Albuquerque.
It was a moving and a profound, yet sad, experience.

We are one of the few organizations of our type in the United States as our purpose is not just to educate people about the Holocaust, but to include other genocides that have affected people around the world. We are not limited to one religion, culture, geographic area or time.

History of Genocide - Genocide has been occurring for thousands of years. The Museum will display the terrors of the Holocaust, as well as the horrors of past and present genocides. In this section, we summarize many of the major genocidal events that we know about.
